Throwback Thursday: MY first website!

What a throwback this is! This website is where website design all started for me, I needed a website for my photography business that I just set up after leaving school and I hated all the ‘build it yourself’ websites out there, I got put in touch with Mel Sedgwick from Splash Web Services, he helped build the website and I got interested; he showed me how it all works and showed me the ropes in website design and hosting.

I wanted a website that showcased myself and my photography off. I had my logo designed by Brad Atherton before myself and Brad even started working together – and looking back on the photographs I took back then, I’ve improved loads (not trying to blow my own trumpet).

I did have a static html website but that was never made live, this is my first ever WordPress.org website. It’s the first ever responsive website I built, and it sparked my enthusiasm into website design.

Take a look at the link on Wayback Machine here (try not to laugh too much) : https://web.archive.org/web/20140812123555/http://www.jakeriding.co.uk/
